The Indie Music Fest 2026 takes place between September 3 and 5 at the Magic Forest of Quinta do Cabo, in Baltar, Paredes, bringing together 40 performances over three days. This edition marks a first in the festival's history with the inclusion of international artists on the lineup. The first day, September 3, has free entry and is dedicated to the Indie Talents project, which selected seven emerging artists competing for a 500 euro prize and the recording of a track at Stone Sound Studios.
On Friday, September 4, Belgian Lézard take the stage in their first performance in Portugal, the Luso-British duo Soma Please, and Belgians Lander & Adriaan, who blend jazz with 90s underground dance music. The lineup also includes names from Portuguese independent music such as Beatriz Pessoa, Nunca Mates o Mandarim, Femme Falafel and Xtinto. The programming is spread across three stages: Super Bock, Beffer and RTP Antena 3.
The last day, September 5, features London's Sports Team as the main highlight, Mercury Prize nominees and considered one of the most irreverent bands of the new British indie rock generation. The lineup also includes PAUS on one of the dates of their farewell tour, Capital da Bulgária project by Sofia Reis, Expresso Transatlântico, Them Flying Monkeys and Vaiapraia.
The festival also bets on an experience beyond the music, with a swimming pool and Fúria Wakepark for wakeboard practice, free skate and BMX lessons at the Paredes Skate Park, cross-training and a climbing wall with mega slide. The Indie Market and the Mini-Indie space, which this year includes showcooking with Chef Roobs on September 4 and 5, complete the offering. The general pass with access to camping costs 35 euros and free shuttles are available between Paredes train station and the venue.
