A 42-year-old woman, who is believed to have been violently beaten by her partner on several occasions, presented herself injured at the PSP police station in Cascais to denounce the aggressor. Public Security Police investigators proceeded with the detention of a 27-year-old man, suspected of the assaults. The case involved domestic violence, with repeated assaults over time. The victim sought out authorities after sustaining injuries, resulting in the identification and arrest of the suspect.
