The Weapons and Explosives Unit of the Bragança District Command recently promoted in Miranda do Douro an action integrated into the initiative «Weapons Safely – Summer Tour 2026». The main objective of this initiative was to bring authorities closer to the population, providing information and clarifications about the possession, use and responsible storage of weapons.
During the action, various aspects related to security and the prevention of risky behaviours were addressed, seeking to reinforce with the community the importance of compliance with the rules applicable to the possession and use of weapons.
The passage of the initiative through Miranda do Douro had the collaboration of the Municipality, which supported the implementation of this awareness and proximity action between authorities and citizens.
The «Weapons Safely – Summer Tour 2026» aims to contribute to greater awareness among the population and to the adoption of practices that promote individual and collective safety.
