A amateur hockey player residing in Los Angeles, California (USA), filed a lawsuit after suffering serious injuries during a game that left him unable to have sexual relations with his wife, according to the lawsuit. Ivan Zenchenko, 32 years old, was playing as a defenseman in a game organized by USA Hockey, the organization that regulates ice hockey in the United States, held on September 27, 2025, at the LA Kings Valley Ice Center.
The accident occurred when Ivan was on the ground during a play and ended up being hit in the head by a puck thrown by an opponent. The puck pierced the Russian-born player's helmet and caused a deep cut on his head.
