Estoril Praia rejected a proposal from Lazio for Yanis Begraoui during the last day of the transfer market. The Portuguese club decided to block the player's exit and did not reach an agreement with the Italian club.
Lazio were willing to pay an amount that could reach 13 million euros for winger Begraoui. However, Estoril did not accept the conditions presented and kept the player in their squad.
Estoril Praia's decision meant giving up a potentially high sum in a market where Portuguese clubs frequently sell players to clubs from bigger leagues. Begraoui ended up remaining at Estoril after the close of the summer transfer window.
