Works at the Covões Health Unit are in the final phase

The Municipality of Cantanhede announced that the work to requalify and expand the former Covões Library is in the final phase. The project aims to install a Health Unit at the location.

The intervention involves the requalification and expansion of the building that housed the former Covões Library, transforming it to accommodate health services for the local community.

With this work, the municipality intends to reinforce the provision of primary health care in the parish of Covões, meeting the needs of the regional population.

The announcement of the advanced phase of the works was made by the Municipality of Cantanhede itself, responsible for the promotion and funding of the project.
