Tuesday's Euromillions draw, September 1st, distributed two second prizes in Portugal, each worth 88,442.56 euros. The two bets registered in the country matched the five numbers of the winning combination and one of the stars. In total, Portuguese bettors won 176,885.12 euros before taxes.
These prizes are subject to Stamp Duty, a 20% rate that applies only to the portion exceeding 5,000 euros. Thus, of the 88,442.56 euros of each prize, 83,442.56 euros are taxed, resulting in a collection of approximately 16,688.51 euros for the State for each prize.
After the tax deduction, each of the two winners should receive approximately 71,754.05 euros net. Together, the two prizes will generate approximately 33,377.02 euros in Stamp Duty for the State.
No bettor managed to match the complete winning combination of draw 070/2026, whose jackpot accumulated again. Six players across Europe secured the second prize, with the winning combination consisting of numbers 2, 10, 23, 37 and 47 and stars 3 and 5. The next Friday's draw will have an estimated jackpot of 89 million euros.
