Beers from around the world debut at the Portimão World Beer Groove at the Santa Catarina Fortress

The Santa Catarina Fortress in Portimão will host from September 18 to 20 the first edition of Portimão World Beer Groove, an event that promises to showcase some of the best beers in the world.

Among the beers available will be international brands such as Coors (USA), Peroni (Italy), Asahi (Japan), Estrella Galicia (Spain), Budvar (Czech Republic), Paulaner (Germany), Blue Moon (USA), Brugse Zot (Belgium) and Kopparberg (Sweden). In the craft segment, beers from BrewDog (Scotland), Coalition (England) and Nortada (Portugal) will be served, finishing with Guinness (Ireland).

The venue will be open between 6pm and midnight on Thursday, from 12pm to midnight on Friday, and from 12pm to 10pm on Sunday. The musical entertainment will include Chillout and Deep House DJ sets, as well as pop and rock classics.

Entry is free and includes an official personalized glass of the event, available at the venue entrance. The event is organized by Portimão Municipality in partnership with promoters Ibérica Eventos & Espetáculos and Hugo Casado.

Musical "Elsa and the Ice Kingdom" arrives in Coimbra in September

The musical "Elsa and the Ice Kingdom" will be presented at the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra on September 27th, at 3:00 PM, promising an afternoon of fun for children and adults. The play, with dramaturgy and staging by Miguel Ruivo Duarte, tells the story of sisters Elsa and Ana, whose Elsa's magical powers lead to the emergence of an endless winter in the Kingdom of Osíris. Ana sets off on an adventure with friend Kristof and the snowman Olavo to find her sister. Tickets are on sale for 15 euros and the show will tour several cities across the country until April of next year, including Almada, Braga, Matosinhos, Porto, among others.

Fado returns to the Old Lota in Portimão with exhibition and musical moments

Fado returns to the Old Lota in Portimão from September 5th, with the opening of the exhibition "What is Fado…", curated by Pedro Félix in partnership with the Museu do Fado, celebrating the 15 years of Fado's inscription as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
