The musical "Elsa and the Ice Kingdom" will be presented at the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra on September 27th, at 3:00 PM. The show is aimed at both children and adults and promises to be an afternoon of entertainment for the whole family.
The story follows Elsa and Ana, two sisters who live in the Kingdom of Osíris. Elsa has magical powers that she has tried to hide since childhood. When the day of the coronation arrives, her powers are revealed, which leads Elsa to flee and cause an endless winter in the kingdom. Ana then decides to set off on an adventure to find her sister, accompanied by friend Kristof and the snowman Olavo.
The musical has dramaturgy and staging by Miguel Ruivo Duarte, intending to transport the audience to a world of magic and emotion, where friendship and the power of love overcome all obstacles. Tickets are already on sale for 15 euros, available both at the physical box office and online.
Until April of next year, the show will tour several locations across the country, including Almada, Braga, Ericeira, Matosinhos, Aveiro, Covilhã, Vila Real, Caldas da Raínha, Leiria, Viseu and Porto.
