The Portal da Queixa recorded 665 complaints against gas stations by August, a number that almost matches the 667 complaints recorded throughout the previous year. This data indicates a significant growth in consumer dissatisfaction with the sector.
The volume of complaints represents an increase of 84.2% compared to the same period the previous year. The comparison with the first half of the year shows that consumers are filing many more complaints this year than in the same period the previous year.
The data suggests a growing trend of dissatisfaction with gas stations, which has already surpassed the levels recorded during the entire previous year, just in the first eight months of the year. This situation may be related to the increase in fuel prices or other factors affecting consumers in this sector.
