The 25-year-old left-back El Karouani is Benfica's new signing. The Moroccan international arrives at the Lisbon club from Al-Qadisiyah, on loan valid until the end of the season, with Benfica holding a purchase option. The player arrived in Lisbon last Sunday and on Monday underwent the usual medical exams.
El Karouani showed himself very happy with the transfer and revealed his main objective to the Eagles club. "I want to win titles, that is my main objective. When you play for a club as big as this one, it can only be like that," the player stated to the Club's media.
The left-back also described the main qualities he intends to bring to the team.
