A first alert dispatch was issued for a rural fire in the Viseu area, specifically in the municipalities of Vila Nova de Paiva and Queiriga. The alert refers to a vegetation fire that broke out in the region.
The authorities mobilized firefighting resources to the scene of the incident. Eleven personnel were deployed to participate in the firefighting operation, including coordination between ground and aerial forces.
To combat the wildfire, one ground resource and one aerial resource were deployed. The response device is currently active in the affected area, with firefighting operations underway.
