Fiorentina hires Beto from Everton

Record1 September 2026 at 19:27

Fiorentina made the signing of Beto, a Portuguese-Guinean forward, official from Everton. The Portuguese player of Guinean origin will reinforce the attack of the Italian team for the next season.

Beto will become a teammate of Pote, another Portuguese player, in Florence. The two players will thus represent the same club in the Italian Serie A.

The forward was at Everton since 2023, having arrived at the English club from Palenque. During his time in the Premier League, Beto failed to establish himself as a regular starter.

The signing represents a return to Italian football for Beto, after previously representing clubs such as Udinese and Cagliari before his transfer to England.
