The main grass pitch at the Madeira Sports Centre, located in Ribeira Brava, has begun to undergo recovery work. The field presented extensive dry areas and irregular coverage, which compromised the adequate conditions for sporting practice.
The work includes the recovery and regularization of the grass, aiming to restore the ideal conditions for the use of the space by sports practitioners.
These interventions come as a result of the technical monitoring that has been carried out by the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento Ponta do Oeste, the entity responsible for managing the sports complex.
