Three detained on suspicion of counterfeiting crime

The Public Security Police (PSP), through the Espinho Police Intervention and Inspection Station, carried out yesterday an inspection operation directed at street vendors at the Weekly Fair of Espinho. The operation aimed to reinforce the prevention and combating of counterfeiting, imitation and illegal use of trademarks.

As part of this action, three people were detained on suspicion of counterfeiting. The PSP carried out the operation to inspect the street vendors operating at the fair.

The action is part of a broader effort by the authorities to combat illegal practices related to the violation of registered trademarks and the sale of counterfeit products in street commerce.
