Four minutes were enough for unknown individuals to carry out the robbery of the century at the Villena Museum last week. The attackers acted during the early morning and managed to take most of the Treasure, goldsmith pieces dating from the year 1,000 before Christ, consisting of bowls, bracelets, bottles and various pieces of gold, silver, iron and amber.
The heist set all alarms ringing, as it is the third robbery of similar characteristics to occur in Spain in recent months. This concerning fact led authorities and cultural institutions to reassess their security protocols.
