The judge asks the jury in the Lindsay Clancy case to continue deliberating after failing to reach a unanimous verdict

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General1 September 2026 at 18:22

The trial of Lindsay Clancy, an American woman accused of killing her three children in 2023, entered a new phase of uncertainty on Tuesday after the jury informed the judge that they had failed to reach a unanimous verdict. The judge asked the jury to continue deliberating.

Lindsay Clancy faces charges for the death of her three children. The case has gained significant media attention in the United States. The trial is currently ongoing, with the jury attempting to reach a verdict on the charges brought against the defendant.

The lack of unanimity on the part of the jury represents a significant obstacle in the judicial process. Deliberations will continue in an attempt to reach a unanimous verdict, as legally required.

A community spokesperson confirmed to EFE that, although Moscow tried to exploit the situation, there is no evidence demonstrating direct involvement in provoking the crisis.
