Six pickpockets were arrested by the PSP in Santa Maria Maior for thefts from tourists. The arrests resulted from four interventions carried out in the parish of Santa Maria Maior.

All six suspects were released after the arrests, not remaining in custody pending trial.

The PSP did not specify what concrete crimes were attributed to the arrested individuals nor the time period in which the thefts occurred.
