The historic Serrador Building, located in Cinelândia, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, will be the new headquarters of the Rio de Janeiro City Council. The building, which has architectural and historical importance for the city, will receive a new use by housing the city's Legislative branch.
The building will have a bistro on the top floor, with panoramic views of Guanabara Bay. The space will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the landscape while using the facilities of the location.
The Sesc Serrador Bistro will be formalized through a partnership between Sesc RJ, Senac RJ, and the Rio de Janeiro City Council. The partnership involves the municipal government and educational and social assistance institutions.
The opening of the bistro is scheduled for October, when it is expected to begin operating as another attraction in the Cinelândia region.
