A woman stabbed two people in Times Square on Monday (31), causing the death of one person and leaving another injured. The fatal victim was identified as Erin Piacenti, 32, vice president of Bank of America. The suspect in the attack was shot and killed by police after the incident.
Piacenti worked in New York City holding the position of Vice President of Business Selection and Conflicts at Bank of America. According to information from her social media, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and Fordham Law School in 2021. Recently, she had celebrated her second wedding anniversary in August.
The executive was stabbed in the abdomen in an attack considered "unprovoked" near 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, around 4:30 PM, as reported by New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch to reporters after the attack.
The suspect was identified as Pamela Cisneros, 49, who pulled out two kitchen knives and committed the attack. She was shot and killed by police after the incident in Times Square.
