More than 150 national and international specialists participate between September 17 and 19 in an international radiology course in Viana do Castelo. The event is organized by the Portuguese Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (SPRMN).
The course includes sessions dedicated to gastrointestinal, female genitourinary and musculoskeletal imaging, focusing on bone tumors. It is recognized for its pedagogical approach based on clinical cases and for the integration between Radiology and Pathological Anatomy.
The program is aimed primarily at radiology residents and specialists, providing scientific updates, discussion of complex cases and contact with specialists from different contexts.
The director of the radiology department at Santa Luzia hospital, José Traila Campos, considered that the event represents an opportunity to bring excellence medical training closer to the territory and to showcase Viana do Castelo as a city capable of hosting high-quality scientific meetings.
