Portuguese musician Rui Veloso performs tonight at the Craft and Gastronomy Fair in Vila Nova de Famalicão, at a concert scheduled for 9:30 PM on the Main Stage, installed at the south end of Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque. Before that, at 9:00 PM, Maria Gil takes the stage. Rui Veloso is one of the main highlights of this year's edition of the fair, which brings together crafts, gastronomy and cultural entertainment for ten days, with free admission.
The music program also includes the Famalicão Fado Festival, with performances by Joana Amendoeira on Wednesday, September 2, Toy on September 4, and Chico da Tina on September 5. This year's edition features 71 craftspeople, 30 gastronomic producers and 10 restaurants.
For the first time, the fair has two stages: the Main Stage, dedicated mainly to music, and the Tradição Stage (Tradition Stage), which hosts the folklore afternoons and the Festival of Challenge Singing. Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque has a new configuration, fully open.
The fair maintains free admission and runs until Sunday, September 6.
