The Eighteenth-Century Fair of Santo Antão do Tojal will take place between September 25 and 27, returning for another edition that promises to transform the Monumental Square into a space dedicated to the recreation of the social and cultural atmosphere of the eighteenth century. The event celebrates the history and traditions of this era, bringing the public an immersive experience in eighteenth-century life.
Over three days, the initiative will bring together a diverse program that includes historical reenactments, period costumes, traditional crafts, music, theater and gastronomy characteristic of the period. All these elements contribute to vividly recreating daily life in the eighteenth century, allowing visitors an approach to the cultural and social practices of the era.
The fair's program is centered on the dissemination and preservation of historical heritage, offering participants the opportunity to closely discover the customs, arts and traditions that marked the eighteenth century. The organization hopes to maintain the success of previous editions, attracting both local residents and visitors from other regions.
