In statements to journalists, the official stated that he never made any decision that could harm the State, although he acknowledged having made "one or two mistakes". Faced with political pressure, Luís Neves was clear: "They don't intimidate me, nothing will take me away from what led me to accept this position," demonstrating his intention to remain in the executive.
