Lionel Richie was hospitalized after performing in St. Louis, United States, this past Saturday (29) night. The information was published by the TMZ website, which stated that the singer was in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a local hospital. He was expected to be discharged this Tuesday (01).

According to TMZ, Richie was admitted to the hospital for some tests and is being cautious. The local medical team is investigating possible mild dehydration as the cause of the hospitalization.

People who were at the show said the musician appeared to have difficulty at the end of the performance. Richie asked his team to bring a chair so he could sit down while singing the last song of the show, "All Night Long".

In June, the singer had already been hospitalized previously, as the article points out, which appears to be cut off.
