Observador1 September 2026 at 14:14

An electrical substation in Turnow-Preilack, in the Brandenburg region of Germany, was targeted in an attack. The incident occurred near the Jänschwalde coal-fired power plant.

Several explosive devices were found at the site during the investigation of the case. The power lines of the substation were damaged as a result of the attack.

Despite the damage caused to the lines, the energy supply was not affected, which suggests that the main transmission infrastructure did not suffer significant impacts.

The case is under investigation by German authorities, who are seeking to identify those responsible for the attack on the electrical facility in the Brandenburg region.
