A first alert dispatch was issued for a wildfire in the Lisbon area, specifically in the parish of Vila Nova da Rainha, in the municipality of Azambuja.

The alert was dispatched with ground resources, counting on 17 personnel and 4 ground vehicles to combat the flames. No air resources were requested for this incident.

The fire is occurring in a scrubland area, a type of vegetation common in the region and that can spread rapidly if not controlled in time. The competent authorities have been activated to the affected area.

Carris will launch an international tender in the first quarter of 2027 for the design and construction of a new Elevador da Glória, in Lisbon, with the new equipment expected to be operational by 2029. The new elevator will be treated as a new installation, no longer benefiting from the protection regime for historical equipment, and will include modern requirements for safety, accessibility and technological supervision, while maintaining its identity and connection to Calçada da Glória. The investigation into the accident remains inconclusive, with the final report expected only for the first quarter of 2027, while the compensation process for the victims continues, with insurer Fidelidade having assumed costs of 2.3 million euros.
