The Public Ministry of Piauí opened an investigation procedure against a server from the Court of Justice of the state. The server is suspected of selling information about judicial proceedings.
The investigation was initiated after the Court of Justice itself, through the General Inspectorate, received complaints about the case. TJPI then referred the complaints to the Public Ministry so that a formal investigation could be opened.
The case involves the allegedly illegal commercialization of confidential data related to proceedings pending in the court. Information about the identity of the investigated server or the number of proceedings whose data was allegedly sold has not yet been disclosed.
The General Inspectorate of TJPI is cooperating with the Public Ministry in the investigations. The investigations continue in progress to determine the extent of the alleged information selling scheme.
