The Vila do Conde Municipal Council will reinforce the operational means of the Municipal Police with the acquisition of a new tow truck. This measure comes integrated in a broader strategy to strengthen the corporation, which also includes the hiring of ten new agents.
The investment aims to increase the intervention capacity of the Municipal Police and improve the response to the needs of the population of Vila do Conde. With this new equipment, the municipality intends to provide the proximity force with better conditions to act on the ground.
According to the Municipal Council, the acquisition of the tow truck will allow increasing capacity and reducing response times in various situations that require police intervention, simultaneously contributing to a more effective management of public space and better working conditions for the personnel.
