The Labor Court determined the blocking of more than R$ 61.8 thousand in private pension plans of Renan Santos, candidate for President of the Republic for the Missão party, in addition to 17 other people and defendant companies in a lawsuit. The decision was made by Judge Ordenisio Cesar dos Santos, of the 2nd Labor Court of Betim, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte.
The process was initiated by a painter who went to the Labor Court claiming to have been fired in 2014 from a company supposedly linked to the candidate. The worker states that he did not correctly receive the severance pay due upon dismissal.
In addition to severance pay, the painter also legally claims salary differences, overtime hours, unhealthy work premium, FGTS deposits and other labor benefits. The information was confirmed by the g1 portal.
In the order, the magistrate ordered an insurance company to report, within ten days, whether the defendants in the case have private pension plans. If there are resources available, they must be blocked up to the necessary limit to guarantee payment of the labor debts.
