A woman was found dead inside her home in Eira Vedra, in Vila Cova da Lixa, in the municipality of Felgueiras. The body was found already in an advanced state of decomposition, and rescue services were called to the residence.
The Volunteer Firefighters of Lixa deployed several personnel and vehicles to the scene, which also had the presence of the GNR of Lixa.
At this stage, no evidence was found pointing to the existence of a crime, according to available information. The circumstances of the death will now be determined by the competent authorities.
