A 78-year-old man died after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest at Tarquínio beach, in Costa da Caparica. The incident occurred when the elderly man was on the beach and was struck by this sudden medical emergency.
The authorities were alerted to the emergency situation and went to the scene to provide assistance to the man. Despite the efforts of the emergency teams, it was not possible to reverse the situation and the man ended up dying at the scene.
Tarquínio beach is one of the beaches located in Costa da Caparica, a coastal area known on the south bank of the Tagus, in Almada, which receives many visitors during the bathing season. It was not possible to obtain further details about the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
