Rescue teams continued on Monday with the search for workers trapped in the tunnels of a hydroelectric plant in Trishuli, Nepal. Rescue operations are underway to try to locate and extract the trapped workers.
The tunnels of the hydroelectric plant were hit by a flood that devastated part of the country, resulting in the workers being buried in mud. The sudden flood caused extremely dangerous conditions inside the tunnels.
Nepalese authorities continue to coordinate rescue efforts to try to save the trapped workers. The incident occurred following floods that severely affected several regions of Nepal.
