The preview screening of the animated film "Viana, the Legend of the Golden Hearts" will take place at Praça da República, in Viana do Castelo, on November 19. The choice of this location is due to the fact that there have been no cinema screens in the city since January, which led to the search for alternatives for the screening.
The president of the Municipal Chamber, Luís Nobre, intends for the event to have a Hollywood-style character, complete with a red carpet. A model is also being prepared to promote the involvement of public space and convey to the world that the scenery associated with the film is real and can be visited.
The film is an animated feature produced by Watermelon Productions, with an investment of 15 million euros, and is inspired by the legend of the city of Viana do Castelo. The production featured the work of Rodrigo de Carvalho.
The film's soundtrack has musical direction by Simon Wadsworth and features the participation of guitarists Nuno Bettencourt and Ângelo Freire.
