Nepalese authorities released on Tuesday, October 1, the latest toll of the flash flood that hit the country, reporting the recovery of 987 bodies so far.
Meanwhile, Chinese authorities reported on Sunday, August 30, 16 deaths resulting from the same catastrophe that hit the Tibet region.
In total, the natural disaster has already claimed over a thousand dead and four thousand missing between Nepal and Tibet, marking one of the worst climate tragedies in the region in recent years.
