The secretary-general of PS stated today, in Maputo, that the party will continue to be "a bulwark" for Mozambicans seeking employment and training opportunities in Portugal. This declaration was made during a visit to Mozambique.
The official acknowledged that there are still "obstacles" to remove regarding mobility within the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries). This statement suggests that, despite progress made, practical difficulties remain for citizens of Portuguese-speaking countries who wish to circulate and work in other member states of the community.
The PS position comes in the context of bilateral relations between Portugal and Mozambique, where the issue of migration and labor mobility between the two countries is a relevant topic. The party seeks to demonstrate its commitment to Mozambican citizens seeking opportunities in Portuguese territory.
