Indian prime minister calls for end to war during meeting with Putin

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called today for an end to the war in Ukraine during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he expressed the desire to increase relations with Moscow.

Modi said that each day the conflict continues, humanity goes backwards, while every step towards peace fills all of humanity with new hope and enthusiasm.

The Indian leader advocated that both countries should move from endless war to the end of the war, considering this an essential step for the well-being of humanity.
