Minister posed for photograph on Avenida do Mar

The Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, travelled to Madeira for an official visit to the region. After lunch at Quinta Vigia with the president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, the minister proceeded to a schedule of visits to security and civil protection services.

Luís Neves visited the facilities of the Regional Civil Protection Service and later went to the Madeira Territorial Command of the GNR, in Funchal. Throughout the morning, the minister had already indicated that he would not make statements to the journalists present.

Upon leaving the GNR facilities, Luís Neves was approached by a citizen who asked him to take a photograph. After some hesitation, the minister accepted the request.
