The mayor of the Municipality of Ribeira Grande, Jaime Vieira, carried out last week a visit to the police stations of the Public Security Police (PSP) in the municipality. The objective of the visit was to strengthen institutional cooperation between the municipality and that security force.
The mayor was accompanied by Deputy Superintendent Nuno Costa, commander of the Ponta Delgada Police Division, and by a commissioner, whose name was not mentioned in the article.
