The feat was achieved at the 2nd Junior World Championship of the International Aeronautical Federation, which took place in Kruševo, North Macedonia. Ivone Silva thus became the world champion of junior women's in the paragliding modality.

The title represents a significant milestone for Madeiran and Portuguese sport, highlighting the talent and dedication of the athlete in the international competition of young paragliding pilots.
