Caminha reinforces support for families in the return to school

A Aurora do Lima31 August 2026 at 10:29

The Municipality of Caminha will offer school worksheet notebooks to students of the 1st cycle of the School Grouping of Caminha who are beneficiaries of tiers 1 and 2 of Social Security, in the academic year 2026/2027. This measure aims to directly support families and reduce the costs associated with the start of the school year.

Parents/guardians who have not yet registered must fill out the Single Form, available on the Municipality's website. The worksheet notebooks will be distributed directly to the schools of the students covered by this initiative.

With this measure, the Municipality of Caminha reinforces its commitment to promoting equal opportunities and supporting families in the municipality in the return to school, ensuring that all children have the necessary materials to start the new learning cycle.

Government reserves R$ 44.8 billion for parliamentary amendments in 2027

The Lula government reserved R$ 44.8 billion for parliamentary amendments in the 2027 Annual Budget Bill (PLOA), an increase of R$ 4 billion compared to the proposal for 2026. The amount is expected to be higher after Congressional approval, since in 2026, R$ 40.8 billion was reserved, but the approved amount reached R$ 50 billion. Mandatory amendments are those the government is obligated to pay, while non-mandatory ones depend on available space in the Budget. There are three types of amendments: individual, from state delegations, and from committees, each with its own rules for distribution and application.
