The National Congress begins this Monday (31) the final week of concentrated effort before October elections. On the agenda are five proposals of interest to the Lula government, including the end of the 6x1 schedule, the Public Security PEC, and the repeal of the blusinhas tax.
The Provisional Measure that zeroes the tax on international purchases of up to 50 dollars, which is about to lose its validity, should be voted on today in the joint committee of deputies and senators. The measure is considered urgent due to the short deadline for its approval.
The Constitution and Justice Committee of the Senate scheduled for Wednesday the vote on the PEC that ends the 6x1 work schedule. This proposal has generated great public interest and mobilization on social media.
Among the other government priorities are the Public Security PEC and the repeal of the blusinhas tax, which should also be considered during this week of votes in the National Congress.
