Lousã alerts ERSUC to full ecopoints

Diário de Coimbra31 August 2026 at 09:30

The municipality of Lousã alerted ERSUC, the company responsible for waste management, to the situation of the ecopoints that are full in the region. The local authority clarified that the responsibility for collecting these recycling containers lies with ERSUC, and this obligation does not fall to the municipality.

The city council guaranteed that it has carried out procedures with the responsible entity to try to solve the problems detected. This is not the first time that complaints have arisen related to the lack of timely collection of ecopoints in that area.
