The search for the 26-year-old young man, of Ukrainian nationality, who disappeared at Ursa beach was interrupted. The incident occurred at what is known as one of the most remote and dangerous beaches in Portugal.
The rescue operations were temporarily suspended but are scheduled to resume on Monday. According to the information provided, the searches will continue as part of daily patrol operations in that coastal area.
Ursa beach, located in the Sintra area, is known for its adverse conditions, with steep rocks and rough waters, which makes any rescue operation particularly challenging. The young man had been missing for several days when the searches were interrupted.
