The first lady of New York, Rama Duwaji, is in Portugal for an Islamic calligraphy retreat. The stay is taking place at Paço da Glória, in Jolda Madalena, in the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez.

The retreat is described as luxurious and is generating some controversy. However, this is not the first time Rama Duwaji has made this type of trip.
