Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo30 August 2026 at 13:30

Almería, a Spanish football club, has expressed interest in signing Leonardo Lelo, left-back from Sporting de Braga. The Portuguese player is thus in the sights of the Spanish club to strengthen their defensive sector.

The deal does not yet have any official confirmation from either of the clubs involved. So far, neither Almería nor Sporting de Braga have issued statements about a possible negotiation.

No values have been disclosed either, associated with this possible transfer. The figures that could be on the table remain unknown, making it impossible to estimate the cost that Almería would be willing to pay for the Portuguese defender.

Leonardo Lelo is a player for Sporting de Braga, a Portuguese club that holds the sporting rights to the left-back. The Minho club has not publicly commented on the interest shown by Almería.
