Bernardo Gaivão traveled undercover through Portugal for a month and a half with the objective of analyzing Portugal's tourism sector from a foreigner's perspective. To carry out this experience, he used various nationality disguises, including Polish, Argentine, English, Spanish and French.
During the trip, Gaivão spoke exclusively in English or in macaronic Portuguese so as not to reveal his Portuguese identity. He traveled by tuk tuks through the city centers he visited, which allowed him a different and close-up perspective of the tourist environment.
The article is incomplete, so it is not possible to present a full summary of the complete content of the experience and Bernardo Gaivão's conclusions about tourism in Portugal.
