The candidate for President of the Republic from Avante, Augusto Cury, was interviewed this Saturday (29) by Globo. The sabbatical was conducted by journalists Renata Vasconcellos and César Tralli, directly from Globo Studios, in Rio de Janeiro. The interview is part of a series of sabbatical interviews conducted with the main presidential candidates.
This is the first time that interviews with contenders for the Palacio do Planalto are broadcast after the "Jornal Nacional," and not during the news program. The network invited the six highest-placed candidates in the voting intention poll released by Quaest on August 14.
The order of the interviews was defined through a draw, with the presence of party representatives. The programming continued with Romeu Zema (Novo) on August 24, Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) on August 25, Renan Santos (Missao) on August 26, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) on August 27, and Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) on August 28, preceding Augusto Cury's sabbatical.
Globoplay made available parallel content to Cury's interview with verifications of what is #FACT and what is #FAKE in the candidate's statements during the sabbatical.
