"It is a question of competitiveness": Government wants to strengthen investment in Education and continue the "correct path" of digitization

The Government's reforms in Education were the central theme of the closing speech at the PSD Summer University, delivered by Luís Montenegro. The Prime Minister defended the need to strengthen investment in the education sector as a way to guarantee the country's competitiveness.

Montenegro emphasized the importance of continuing what he designated as the "correct path" of digitization, suggesting that this strategy is essential for the educational and economic development of Portugal.

The PSD Summer University event served as a platform for the PSD leader to present his vision for the sector, aligning educational reforms with the challenges of national competitiveness.

Government puts national energy storage strategy out for public consultation

The Portuguese Government opened the public consultation of the National Energy Storage Strategy (ENAE), which sets a target of 6.9 GW of installed capacity by 2030, almost double the current amount.
