Diesel discount in Spain rises to 20 cents/liter from Tuesday

The Spanish government announced that the diesel discount will increase to 20 cents per liter from Tuesday. This measure aims to support consumers facing high fuel prices.

Conversely, the discount applied to the gasoline tax will be reduced. It will go from 10 cents per liter in August to just 5 cents per liter in September.

This change represents a reversal of the previous trend, where the diesel discount was lower than that of gasoline. From Tuesday, drivers who use diesel will benefit from greater support than those who use gasoline.
